Mark Gilmer, disciple-maker and a man of God, went to his eternal reward on July 21, 2010. He is mourned by family and friends from all over the country.

I gained the opportunity to know Mark over the years through Bible Quiz, as many did. Most recently, many of us saw Mark at National Finals in Troy, Michigan in early July. Mark has always been an inspiration because of his selfless devotion and effort in discipling students through Bible Quiz, coupled with a relentlessly positive attitude despite the many obstacles he faced in life.

Even though our interaction was limited by time and geography, I will miss Mark greatly. I am rejoicing wtih him in the healing he has now received. He has most certainly "quizzed out positively" with a bonus that we can only imagine.

Sorry for the slight delay in posting this week's show. We recorded on Saturday night, but I had a couple of editing problems that I'm working out. (Don't worry...we DID record!) Hope to have the show up later today or this evening at the latest. Tim

The show was briefly delayed this evening because of a shortage of space on BQP's web hosting account. The recent increase in show length has increased the file sizes, which resulted in the account running out of space.

This left me with a choice - either wait for two more weeks to post another show, or upgrade the account.

Obviously, I don't want to delay the flow of shows, so I upgraded the account.

The BibleQuizPodcast will always be a free resource. Up until now I've been able to do this without help or sponsorship. However, I think it's probably time to allow the loyal listeners of the podcast the ability to donate and help support the show.

I have had some audio issues with our interviews in Orlando, and I have been trying to clean those up. At the same time, I have been out of the state for a few days, and my portable setup didn't work right to get out another entry in the feed.
